FLINT IS A GREAT MATERIAL! HEAR HOW THE PEOPLE OF THE PAST USED THE INDISPENSABLE FLINT.
Over time, Flint has ensured survival, life and status. The hard, black stone was used for tools, powerful weapons and status symbols. The tools were used for everything from hunting, harvesting grain, clearing forests, building houses and boats. In short, flint was the lifeblood of the Stone Age. Come and visit the exhibition, see how flint has been used over time, and find out more about how the people on Høje Møn lived in the Stone Age. It is both exciting and full of drama.
The flint exhibition at the GeoCenter Møns Klint has, together with an exhibition about amber, come about thanks to support from the Nordea Foundation and Louis Petersen's grant.
The exhibition offers plenty of drama, great narratives and educational interactive installations. See below what else you can experience...
