Travel with our guides back to the past and have a unique experience at Møns Klint
The tour goes from the GeoCenter down Denmark's longest staircase and along the fantastic beach below. Møns KlintAlong the way you will hear about life in the Cretaceous Sea 70 million years ago, and about the enormous natural forces that created Møns KlintAnd then of course we have to look for fossils!
A fantastic tour for both children and adults. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a seasoned fossil hunter or have never found a fossil before.
If you're lucky, you can find your own 70 million year old fossil and take it home!
Dates for guided fossil hunts in 2025:
April 12-21 (Easter)
May 29 – June 1 (Ascension Day)
June 7-9 (Pentecost)
June 28 – August 29 (Summer vacation)
October 11-19 (Autumn break)
Every day at 11 am and 14 pm.
Meeting point at the playground by the blue flags 5 min. before departure. The tour ends down on the beach after approx. 1 hour. Please note that the tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties, wheelchair users and pregnant women.

Join us on a fossil hunt along the 128 meter high cliffs and hear the guides' exciting stories. It is a completely unique experience.

Speed off on Klinteskoven's unforgettable mountain bike track and experience Møns Klint on two wheels. You borrow a bike from the GeoCenter, and routes and pace are adapted to the individual group. My. age 12 years.
