EUROPE'S BEST HIKING ROUTE
KLINTEKONGEN'S RIGE IS A BEAUTIFUL AND VARIED HIKING ROUTE THAT TAKES YOU PAST ALL THE GREATEST NATURAL AND CULTURAL SITES ON HØRE MØN.
The route is circular and takes you around the entire area, which, according to legends and myths, constitutes the Kingdom of the Rock King itself.
You come through the mysterious rocky forest with all its 'mountains' and ancient monuments, and you visit the fairy-tale and romantic garden at Liselund castle, and from there via the secret back road to Møns Klint.
Here the Klintekongen lives in his great hall deep inside the cliff. On the route you will see the cliff both from the beach and from the most spectacular viewpoints along the edge of the cliff.
Allow at least 6 hours to cover the 14 km, including height meters and the staircase with the many steps from the beach.
Klintekongens Rige lies in some of the most hilly terrain in Denmark. You must therefore set aside plenty of time, and preferably be in moderate to good shape to complete the trip.

EUROPE'S BEST HIKING ROUTE
Klintekongens Rige is approved according to the certification system - Premium Hiking Tours by the Deutsches Wanderinstitut. The German organization has established Europe's most widespread – and strictest – quality system for walking routes, where only the best routes pass through the eye of the needle. Over the years, more than 600 Premium Hiking Routes in more than 10 countries have been assessed and certified through the German system. The Klintekongens Rige tops the list with 101,5 experience points.

Klintekongens Rige has been named Europe's best hiking route. Here you get it all! All the largest natural and cultural sites on Høje Møn, and in some of Denmark's most hilly terrain.

The popular Gråryg route takes you around the southern part of the cliff. The route goes both on the edge of the cliff and along the beach, and along the way you are enriched with breathtaking views.

On the Røde Udfald route you experience the northern part of the cliff. Stand on the highest point of the cliff, find the "Klintekongens face" and go in search of fossils and beautiful stones along the beach.
