The coastline of Møn’s eastern coast is a spectacular sight. The steep, white stretches of cliff, extending about 7 km, rise abruptly out of the sea - to heights of up to 128 metres above the Fossil Beach.
The endless crumbling of the cliffs lends the water a very special colour and the beach abounds with fossils from the prehistoric fauna of the Cretaceous Sea.
PLEASE NOTE!
The cliff is a piece of living nature. Subsidence can occur and rocks can fall anywhere on the cliff. Moving around in the area is at your own risk.
The flora and fauna of East Møn are something pretty special. In fact they are so unique that you simply MUST experience them.
