Parking

It costs DKK 45 to park in the car park at the GeoCenter Møns Klint. Your number plate is automatically registered at the entrance. Pay in the parking machine in front of the main entrance. Enter your number plate, pay by card, take your receipt and drive out.

How to buy a ticket

We recommend that you buy your ticket from home or on your mobile phone - then you can better plan your day, and you will avoid any queue. Buy your ticket here. You can also buy a ticket at the reception when you arrive at the GeoCenter.

Find your way by car

You will find GeoCenter Møns Klint at Stengårdsvej 8, 4791 Borre. If you come by car from Zealand and follow E47/55, you must take exit 41. If you come from Falster, you must turn off at exit 42. Then follow the signs to Møns Klint.

Find your way by bus

Bus 667 runs from Stege to Magleby. From here there is a walking/biking tour Møns Klint of 5,5 km. You are welcome to bring your bicycle on the bus. You can plan your trip here at the itinerary. During the summer period and during many of the holidays, there is a free hop-on-hop-off bus. The bus runs around the whole of Møn and it also stops at Møns Klint and the GeoCenter. Tours from Copenhagen

Are you going on a day trip from Copenhagen? You can book a bus trip where you drive from Copenhagen in the morning, visit both Skovtårnet and Møns Klint, and is home again in the evening. Book your trip here.

Food and drinks

Café Møns Klint is a wonderful and cozy place to eat for the whole family. Here you will find good coffee, delicious food and homemade Klinteis. Settle down indoors or sink into a lounge chair on our large terrace on the edge of the cliff.  See menu card here

Toilets

Toilets and disabled toilets are located in the southern part of the building opposite the main entrance. The toilets are open between 06 – 22 every day during the opening season.

Today's program

GeoCenter Møns Klint offers over 20 exciting experiences both inside and outside. You can e.g. join guided tours, try the climbing and cable car, watch a film in the 3D cinema or go on a mountain bike ride. There are enough experiences here for more than one day - for the whole family. See today's program here.

Child-, elderly- and disabled-friendly

GeoCenter Møns Klint is furnished with wide corridors and lifts between the different levels, so that families with small children, wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility can easily get around the house. The availability also applies to the Café Møns Klint and Butik Orkidé. There is access to a large disabled toilet, which is also equipped with a changing table. Contact reception if you need to borrow a wheelchair or pushchair. It is free.

If you arrive by car and have a wheelchair with you, we have four disabled parking spaces right up by the main entrance. When you drive through the entrance barrier to Møns Klint, you must continue up past the GeoCentre, where the 4 marked parking spaces are located. Your companion, if any, gets free entry on presentation of a companion card.

Book a guide

Get a lot more out of your visit and get your own narrator in the exhibition or on the fossil beach. You can also book the climbing course or get a guide on your mountain bike tour. The tours can be adapted to your/the group's needs and wishes, so call and have a chat about what you would like. Read more here.

Can I bring my dog?

Guide dogs are welcome in the exhibition. Other dogs must politely wait outside.

Motorhomes and caravans

It is not permitted to spend the night in motorhomes or caravans in the car park. Motorhomes and caravans are welcome during the day.

Accompanying arrangement

People with an accompanying card must buy a ticket to the GeoCenter online or at reception. On presentation of the companion's card at the reception, the companion receives a free ticket on the day.

Orchid tour

Høvbleke – Summer flowers in full bloom

Join us on a free orchid tour to Høvblege ved Møns Klint. The floral flora on the south-facing hillside at Høvblege is a beautiful sight here in the summer. And the many flowers provide food for many insects, including the very rare Black-spotted Bluebird and the equally rare Thyme Bunting. Up in the hills we find the orchid swamp hole lip, which usually stands in low swamp areas, but here stands on the hilltop. Get the explanation of this tour.

Guide on the tour is former forest warden HC Gravesen, who has had a lifelong passion for orchids Møns Klint.

The trip is organized by GeoCenter Møns Klint in collaboration with the Norwegian Nature Agency Storstrøm. It is free to participate and registration is not necessary.

Møns Klint on the way to UNESCO World Heritage – We geek out on geology and landscape formation

In January, Culture Minister Jakob Engel-Schmidt signed the application, which hopefully can do Møns Klint to UNESCO World Heritage in the summer of 2025. Møns Klint tells an incredibly exciting story about the way ice age glaciers have shaped the landscapes of large parts of the northern hemisphere. The landscapes we now live in.

On this trip, where Ph.D. and scientific editor on the application Eliza Jarl Estrup is your guide, we take a closer look at the Klinten with UNESCO glasses on.

The tour is free for everyone and registration is not necessary.

South Coast Ultra

Come along when we run the SOUTH COAST ULTRA on Saturday 17 August 2024, which is perhaps the coolest and without a doubt the most beautiful trail race of the year. Here are distances for everyone, 50, 30, 15, 5 km and a children's trail for the benefit of the Smile Foundation. All distances start and finish at the GeoCenter Møns Klint, where on the day there is 50 percent on the entrance ticket for up to 4 people per start number, as well as free parking.

What is the background for the LIFE ORCHIDS nature project? What will happen? Why must nature be restored? And how to restore wild nature? Come and hear project manager from Vordingborg Municipality Carsten Horup talk about the new large nature restoration project on Høje Møn, LIFE ORCHIDS.

Guided tour

Klinteskoven – Biodiversity in a special class

Klinteskoven will henceforth be untouched forest, but not completely untouched. How does it add up? We look at that, and talk about it, on this trip into the shade of the old beech trees. Forest grazing, sunlight and dead wood are key words when the already high biodiversity is to do even better. Perhaps the Norwegian Nature Agency has already started?

Guide on the tour is former forest warden HC Gravesen, who has had a lifelong passion for nature on Høje møn.

The trip is organized by GeoCenter Møns Klint in collaboration with the Norwegian Nature Agency Storstrøm. It is free to participate and registration is not necessary.

Møn Dragon Festival – 25th anniversary!

Møn Dragon Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary! Eliza Jarl Estrup: Møns Klint as UNESCO World Heritage

Now the application is to do Møns Klint to UNESCO world heritage finally sent off to the UNESCO commission in Paris! Come and hear about the unique geological values ​​that make Møns Klint so unique – and learn more about the long process towards hopefully achieving World Heritage status within the coming years.
