DAY 1

Arrival Danmarks Borgcenter – 15 min walk from Vordingborg station. Luggage is picked up at the hostel station.
Kl. 11.00 am - 14.00 pm
The students experience the exhibitions and the ruin at Denmark's Borgcenter.
The class visits Denmark's Castle Center on its own and has free access to all the exhibitions (including any special exhibitions, see the website here ) and the entire ruin terrain incl. The Goose Tower.
Please note that the communication at Danmarks Borgcenter takes place in the podcast format on own devices.
It is therefore a good idea to ask students to bring their own smartphones or tablets (as long as they can access the internet) and preferably headphones.
On arrival, you will each be given a QR code, which is scanned and gives access to all the stories and all the history both outside and inside.
The museum hosts will of course be happy to help you get it all started.
You also have access to the material after the museum visit. You are therefore free to use it in the lesson afterwards.
If, as a teacher, you need or want to prepare before the visit, you are welcome to visit the museum by appointment, and after you have booked a visit, where you will receive the QR code and can take a tour of the exhibitions.
Lunch, own packed lunches, can be enjoyed outdoors on the castle grounds
Remember to clean up after yourself.

Teaching process at GeoCenter Møns Klint "Experience Denmark's Birth".
Together with a nature guide, the students are taken to the beach to find fossils that can tell about the animal and plant life of the Cretaceous Sea. The students examine the chalk on Møns Klint, and experience how Denmark was created.
