Over the past 35 years, Klinteskoven has changed from a completely ordinary forestry to a biodiversity forest. This process has been difficult for some to swallow, and completely natural for others. Last year, a structural felling was carried out, which has created much more variety in the forest. Hopefully for the benefit of many plants, mushrooms, beetles, birds, butterflies, animals and all the other organisms.
On this trip we will go through the forest and look at everything with completely new eyes.
The tour guide is former forester HC Gravesen, who has a lifelong passion for nature on Høje Møn. He shares his extensive knowledge about the development of the forest and its importance for animal and plant life.
Please bring refreshments for the tour and wear trekking shoes/boots. Please note that the tour takes place in very hilly terrain.
There is no access to a toilet.
Meeting point: Havrelukke, – the parking lot in the middle of Klinteskoven, Stengårdsvej, 4791 Borre
Please note that the tour is in Danish.
