Magical summer days
of Møns Klint

Unique boat trip at Møns Klint

Experience Møns Klint from a completely different perspective on this atmospheric boat trip. Board from the beach and sail along the impressive chalk cliffs, while Captain Ole Eskling and one of the GeoCenter's guides share fascinating stories.

When: July 11th 11am-17pm. The boat trip lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Note: There is room for 8 people on the boat. Children must be at least 3 years old. Meeting point is on the beach at the bottom of Maglevandstrappen. The boat only sails in good weather.

Tickets: A boat trip costs 75 DKK + entrance fee to the GeoCenter. Book online when you buy an entrance ticket. If you have a season ticket or weekly ticket, you must log in to your profile at ticket.moensklint.dk and select “Book extra activities”. You can also buy tickets at the reception on the day, but please note that they may be sold out.

Build a real dinosaur

Step into the past and build an impressive dinosaur skeleton from GeoCenteret's old dinosaur exhibit. Assemble the full-size model and experience how the bones take shape. Finish with a fun family photo in front of your own prehistoric giant.

When: June 29 and July 6, 1:30-3 p.m.

The suitcase of life with Rav-Anders

Watch the past come to life as Rav-Anders unpacks his suitcase filled with mysterious and exciting objects from the past. You can see some of the first life on earth, a dinosaur footprint, a mammoth tooth from the Ice Age, and be lucky enough to hold a real piece of the moon!

When: July 10th at 3-3:45 p.m.

The flintsmith's workshop

Get your hands on one of the flint's treasures when the flintsmith invites you to his workshop and shows you how flint is turned into sharp tools. Try your hand at the technique and carve your own tool like a true Stone Age person!

When: July 2 and July 9 at 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Note: Flint is a sharp material – so all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Spider Island Møn

Come and hear arachnologist Frederik Leck Fischer talk about the fascinating eight-legged creatures – and hear why Møn is a truly unique spider locality (!). I wonder if Frederik will also bring a real spider or two?

Crocodile Zoo

If you want to be introduced to the mysterious and secret world of reptiles, then come and join us as one of the guides from Krokodille Zoo shows off animals and shares his vast knowledge. Maybe you'll even be allowed to hold a snake or lizard in your own hands?

When: July 1th at 3-3:45 p.m.

The first person with the Radionauts

Join the Radionauts on a fantastic journey in search of the first human! Along the way, we meet furry ancestors, a bath sponge, a bony friend and a lot of other fun from the world of science. After the live show, there will be free postcards, autographs and a signed book sale.

When: July 2th at 3-3:45 p.m.

Folk music stories

Be lulled into fairy-tale tones when the Legend Women play historical music and invite you to musical theatre about the ancient legends from Møn. Hear, for example, the legend of King Grøn and Queen Fane, or the legend of the Klintekongen and the magical power of the runes!

When: July 5 and July 12, 12-16 p.m.

Dinosaur concert with Beat & Brøl

Join the time machine as Morten travels through the time of dinosaurs to find the owner of a mysterious tooth fossil! A lively and adventurous concert, filled with dancing, singing, funny stories and soap bubbles.

When: July 6th at 3-3:45 p.m.

The Eco Band's music show

Come and play with the Eco Band and their happy songs about waste sorting, recycling and biodiversity! They play and dance in colorful costumes – and sing happy melodies with the funniest gestures. In between the music, you can make your very own instrument out of trash in the Eco Band's workshop.

When: June 29th 3-5:30 p.m.

Fossil tour for children

The funniest and coolest fossil tour! Come with our guide down Denmark's longest staircase and hear wild stories about deadly mosasaurs, giant bulldozing glaciers and the world's fastest animals. Together we go hunting for fossils on the beach.

When: July 3 and July 10, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult

Spin your own string from wool

Try your hand at an ancient craft in our cozy workshop, where you can learn how to spin carded wool into cord with a hand spinner. It requires a little patience – but the reward is great when you see the thread take shape between your hands!

When: July 5 and July 12, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Bonfire and carving workshop

Get immersed in the Stone Age at this workshop, where you can carve your own tools around a crackling fire. For example, carve your own magic wand or butter knife, or try making your very own flute from an elder branch.

When: June 30 and July 7, 1:30-3 p.m.

Note: We work with sharp knives – so all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Grow a mushroom

Did you know that mushrooms are a much bigger and cooler creature than the toadstool you see above ground? In this workshop you can learn more about the secret life of mushrooms, while you get to make your very own mushroom growing kit that you can take home with you.

When: July 1 and July 8, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

GPS hunting in Klinteskoven

Travel through four different times on our interactive GPS hunt. Scan a QR code and follow the route through the forest to virtual checkpoints where your knowledge is challenged through questions. Can your team get the best time and be the lucky winners of the prize?

When: 29 June – 12 July, at 10-17.30

Make a mammoth

Bring the mammoths back to life! In this workshop you can make your own cute mammoth out of clay or cardboard. Place your mammoth in our ice age landscape and get a great photo before taking your woolly friend home with you.

When: July 4 and July 11, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Fossil hunting on the beach

Join our guides on an expedition to the past and find 70 million years old fossils along the rocky beach. A fantastic experience for both children and adults.

When: Every day at 11 am and 14 pm

War on Timmesøbjerg

Take a hike deep into the Klinteskoven Forest and discover the remains of an enigmatic refuge from the Bronze Age. Hear the exciting tales of war and peace in the Bronze Age, and be part of the conquest of Timmesøbjerg yourself.

When: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1-2:15 p.m.

Tree climbing and zipline

Fly in a race with the peregrine falcon and feel the rush in your stomach. Our instructors will guide you safely up into the treetops – and back down again. A dizzying experience! Can be tried by children as young as 6 years old.

When: Daily 12-16pm

Mountain bike tour in Klinteskoven

Speed ​​off on Klinteskoven's unforgettable mountain bike track and experience Møns Klint on two wheels. You borrow a bike from the GeoCenter, and routes and pace are adapted to the individual group.

When: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 14-16 pm

Reflection concert with Noah Rosanes

Experience a sensual concert where music, nature and the thoughts of yourself and the other participants merge into a unique nature experience. The concert starts out at the Cliff at Dronningestolen and ends inside the GeoCenter's exhibition.

When: July 4th at 3-3:45 p.m.
