EUROPE'S BEST HIKING ROUTE

KLINTEKONGEN'S RIGE IS A BEAUTIFUL AND VARIED HIKING ROUTE THAT TAKES YOU PAST ALL THE GREATEST NATURAL AND CULTURAL SITES ON HØRE MØN.

The route is circular and takes you around the entire area, which, according to legends and myths, constitutes the Kingdom of the Rock King itself.

You come through the mysterious rocky forest with all its 'mountains' and ancient monuments, and you visit the fairy-tale and romantic garden at Liselund castle, and from there via the secret back road to Møns Klint.

Here the Klintekongen lives in his great hall deep inside the cliff. On the route you will see the cliff both from the beach and from the most spectacular viewpoints along the edge of the cliff.

Allow at least 6 hours to cover the 14 km, including height meters and the staircase with the many steps from the beach.

Klintekongens Rige lies in some of the most hilly terrain in Denmark. You must therefore set aside plenty of time, and preferably be in moderate to good shape to complete the trip.
